Description | SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER needed for national philanthropic organization! As we continue to grow, we're now looking for a Senior Program Manager, a newly-created position in our Education Grantmaking department. This position is responsible for assisting with the planning, facilitation, and coordination of the noncompetitive grant activities that support Great Lakes' philanthropic mission. In addition, this position will identify and cultivate opportunities for collaboration with national partners and other national grantmakers. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, knowledgeable and respected professional within the education philanthropy field, with a thorough understanding of grant-funded programs and projects, plus a track record of collaborating to achieve defined philanthropic goals. In addition, the ideal candidate will have knowledge equivalent to a Master Degree in philanthropy or related field and five or more progressive years in grantmaking.
